EXSEIND is a project that aims to engage an Interdisciplinary Sensory Experience (or EXperiencia SEnsorial INterDisciplinaria as it reads in Spanish) through improvisation in sound and image, reaching stages of trance both for the audience as well as for the performers alike. Cristian Gallardo’s imaginative alto sax and flute is processed in real-time by Lars Graugaard’s sophisticated, self-styled computer processes, to generate an effect that approaches the hypnotic as it is sown together with the comprehensive electronic beats and the rich and constantly evolving bass-line, melodies, chords and sonic backdrops. Ce Pams develops her analoge visuals on the spot, and sensuously illustrates the musical ongoings by means of feedback that she feeds with use of mirrors, lights, magnifying glasses, crystal balls and many other objects. EXSEIND also considers other artistic disciplines such as dance and movements, emphatically keeping an open dialogue across the novel creative landscape.
The future is not, the past has been we are poetry, music, image, movement; the whole. Come and dance, come and improvise and close the eternal circular flow. Let us be sound, poetry, movement, in freedom here and now leaving illusion behind.
