REFLEJO es un compilado de obras sonoras de carácter electrónico multi-lenguaje de artistas Chilenos del Colectivo SOMA Axón, nace del ideario de estar en contra de cualquier tipo de guerra, una especie de reencuentro, que pretende manifestar esa inquietud que conmueve ante cualquier suceso bélico en el mundo, es el reflejo de una parte de la humanidad que vive en esperanza y lo combate a través del Arte.
REFLEJO is a compilation of multi-language electronic sound works by Chilean artists from the SOMA Axón Collective, born from the ideology of being against any type of war, a kind of reunion, which aims to express that concern that moves us in the face of any warlike event in the world, is the reflection of a part of humanity that lives in hope and fights it through Art.

SOMA AXÓN, Es el primer colectivo artístico de SOMA Laboratory en América del Sur. El objetivo es experimentar en torno a las máquinas y sonidos de SOMA Lab y sumarlas a proyectos audiovisuales, musicales y otras disciplinas de las artes y expresiones diversas. Esta comunidad busca estrechar vínculos con artistas locales, compartir estas experiencias, a modo de acompañamiento colectivo-colaborativo en todos sus procesos creativos. El nombre AXÓN está inspirado en el significado científico de la palabra. Así como el SOMA es el cuerpo celular de una neurona, el AXÓN es su extensión. Como si fueran cables que salen de una máquina, los axones conectan todo el cuerpo enviando y recopilando información fundamental para la unidad del sistema sensible. El diseño SOMA – AXÓN es la analogía que se utiliza para describir cómo estamos conectados unos a otros, así como también están conectados OPERADOR y MÁQUINA. SOMA es el lugar desde donde se nutren nuestras creaciones y, a su vez, devolvemos a éste nuestras creaciones retroalimentando un sistema que no tiene fin. Es un espacio que crece constantemente, abierto a que se sumen otros creadores que quieran formar parte de esta comunidad. La comunidad opera como el AXÓN de SOMA.
SOMA AXÓN, It is the first artistic collective of SOMA Laboratory in South America. The objective is to experiment around the machines and sounds of SOMA Lab and add them to audiovisual, musical projects and other disciplines of the arts and diverse expressions. This community seeks to strengthen ties with local artists, share these experiences, as a collective-collaborative accompaniment in all their creative processes. The name AXON is inspired by the scientific meaning of the word. Just as the SOMA is the cell body of a neuron, the AXON is its extension. Like wires coming out of a machine, axons connect the entire body, sending and collecting critical information to the sentient system unit. The SOMA – AXON design is the analogy used to describe how we are connected to each other, just as OPERATOR and MACHINE are connected. SOMA is the place from where our creations are nourished and, in turn, we return our creations to it, feeding back a system that has no end. It is a space that is constantly growing, open to other creators who want to be part of this community. The community operates as the AXON of SOMA.

BIOGRAFÍA:
Ricardo Morales aka AGVFCK, empezó como rapero o MC, desde los 12 años con sus amigos de barrio. Cursó estudios superiores de Licenciatura en Artes con Mención en Sonido en la U. de Chile. También trabaja en el área de sonido de algunas obras de teatro tanto como diseñador sonoro como controlador de audio. Se acerca a la electrónica y profundiza en muchos ámbitos de esta, siendo predominante el IDM, Experimental, Electro, Glitch, Dnb.
(Biography):
Ricardo Morales aka AGVFCK, began as a rapper or MC, since he was 12 years old with his neighborhood friends. He studied a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Sound at the University of Chile. He also works in the sound area of some theater plays both as sound designer and audio controller. He approaches electronics and delves into many areas of this, being predominantly IDM, Experimental, Electro, Glitch, Dnb.

BIOGRAFÍA:
co-dec, Es el resultado estético sonoro-visual del artista chileno-electrónico Patricio González Cruz, que desde el año 2016 ha volcado su trabajo bajo el concepto de la construcción y deconstrucción en su obra, utilizando una codificación estética y decodificación sonora- visual en su propuesta, planteando una constante búsqueda en los relatos audiovisuales de nuestra era, mezclado con los lenguajes narrativos tradicionales y las nuevas tecnologías multimediales.
Miembro fundador y director de Orion Network, plataforma colectiva y colaborativa de artistas electrónicos. Lugar común de interacción, integración y camaradería de diversos artistas sonoros y visuales de la electrónica vanguardista y experimental.
En el 2018, forma el proyecto colectivo interdisciplinario audiovisual “Dentro del Mismo Individuo”, conocido también como DMI Live. Proyecto donde se experimenta simultáneamente con luz y sonido en una atmósfera inmersiva y desarrollando el trabajo bajo el dogma de la creación colectiva y experimental en tiempo real.
A partir del año 2016 forma parte de la banda de rock-industrial “DRAG” donde se integra como músico, diseñador sonoro e ingeniero de mezcla y masterización.
Actualmente es socio-director en la “Industria Musical Electrónica Independiente”, conocida como IME Chile: asociación gremial que une artistas, sellos, productores y gestores de la música electrónica independiente chilena.

Oxillatör, It is the sound-visual aesthetic result of the Chilean-electronic artist Patricio González Cruz, who since 2016 has turned his work under the concept of construction and deconstruction in his work, using an aesthetic coding and sound-decoding. visual in its proposal, proposing a constant search in the audiovisual stories of our era, mixed with traditional narrative languages and new multimedia technologies.

Peones de carne y sangre vueltos partículas dispersas por todo el tablero. Esparcidos por las plazas de ciudades derrumbándose, vomitando tripas tibias que se pelean los perros callejeros mientras unos cuervos picotean ojos huérfanos. Productos vencidos no aptos para el consumo humano. Carroñas irreconocibles.
Vidas intangibles proyectadas en pantallas planas para el entretenimiento de masas ciegas ávidas de más temporadas. Actores sin sustancia, sin compostura. Sus átomos bailarines suspendidos en la quietud del vacío. Cuerpos etéreos transitando sin rumbo, haciendo trizar los cuadros que acarician, tratando de hacer memoria de su materialidad pasada, haciendo descascarar la pintura de las paredes que atraviesan. El polvo se acumuló en los estantes, los ratones corren por las despensas repletas de esperanza en la existencia ilusoria de un mañana, alguno que otro frasco quebrado sembrando abarrotes descompuestos en el piso carcomido por el derrame de flujos corporales, ventanas rotas, cortinas deshilachadas movidas por leves suspiros del aire penando, puertas a media colgar de bisagras torcidas, umbrales de casas que nadie volverá a cruzar. Gritos atragantados, rostros borrados, latidos interrumpidos. Marionetas desarticuladas comiendo pasto desde la raíz cuadrada del algebra malsano de mentes enfermizas. Nada se pierde, todo se desmorona y se transforma en materia negra, rezumando putrefacción de orificios artificiales. Fatiga material. La suma de las partes es mayor que el todo y el todo no es nada sin sus partes. El todo ya no es. No queda nada para sumar. Aquí solo se resta. Uno menos diez menos decenas de miles. Lejos de los ojos, lejos, sin corazón. Gravitando imperceptibles, invisibles. Inaudibles. Voces que no se escucharán, abrazos que no se darán, cuerpos que no sudarán juntos. Nunca más. Fatídica permanencia de lo absurdo.

Disappear,Expendable. Used and abused. Obsolete. Disposable.
Pawns of flesh and blood turned into dispersed particles all over the board. Scattered over the main squares of crumbling cities, vomiting warm guts street dogs fight over, while ravens peck at orphan eyes. Expired products not suitable for human consumption. Unrecognizable carcasses. Intangible lives projected onto flat screens for the entertainment of blind masses, craving for the upcoming seasons. Actors without substance, without composure. Their dancing atoms suspended in the quietness of the void. Ethereal bodies roaming without purpose, causing the frames they caress to splinter as they try to remember their past materiality, making the paint of the walls they go through peel off. Dust accumulated on the shelves, the mice run through the cupboards filled with illusory expectation of a tomorrow, broken jars sowing putrid edibles on the floor decayed by spilled body fluids, smashed windows, frayed curtains lightly swayed by the sighs of the agonizing air, doors half hanging from twisted hinges, thresholds of doors no one will ever cross again. Choked up screams, wiped out faces, interrupted beats. Disarticulated puppets eating grass from the square roots of insane algebra spewed out of sick minds. Nothing is lost, everything falls apart and transforms into black matter, oozing putrefaction from artificial cavities. Material fatigue. The sum of all parts is greater than the whole, and the whole is nothing without its parts. The whole no longer is. There is nothing left to sum. There is only subtractions here. One minus ten minus tens of thousands. Out of sight, out, heartless. Gravitating imperceptible, invisible. Inaudible. Voices that will not be heard, embraces that will not be given, bodies that will not exude together. Ever again. Fateful permanence of the absurd.

004_Insommne – Rebelión
BIOGRAFÍA:
Insommne, Propuesta de Moira Toro, pretende hacerte transitar desde la oscuridad hasta un golpe de luz. Entre la crudeza, la realidad y esperanza realiza un contraste de manera que puedan complementarse, proyectando cada sentir desde lo más auténtico dentro de lo que es el dolor, violencia, rechazo, y cada sentimiento que sea reprimido en cada situación de desesperación e injusticia. Le gusta representar lo oscuro y crudo de la vivencia cotidiana, a través de sonidos llenos de texturas, emocionalidad y dureza, para así llegar a un punto de reflexión sobre el daño que cada une en algún momento siente, con el fin de exteriorizarlo en cada ruido.

Insommne, is Moira Toro’s proposal, it aims to make you go from darkness to a stroke of light. Between rawness, reality and hope, he makes a contrast so that they can complement each other, projecting each feeling from the most authentic within what is pain, violence, rejection, and each feeling that is repressed in each situation of despair and injustice. He likes to represent the dark and raw of everyday life, through sounds full of textures, emotionality and hardness, in order to reach a point of reflection on the damage that each one feels at some point, in order to externalize it in every noise.

Rebelión, es el reflejo de cada batalla. Demuestra sonidos desde la frialdad vivida en todos los momentos de guerra, empatizando desde el desconsuelo para así transformarlos en una armadura poderosa energizante que combate cada instante de vulnerabilidad y destrucción, empoderando la agonía producida por el descontento. Como un escudo rodeado de misiles, enfatiza la protección ante toda inmoralidad desde lo explícito y cruel.

Rebelión, is the reflection of each battle. Demonstrates sounds from the coldness experienced in all moments of war, empathizing from grief in order to transform them into a powerful energizing armor that combats every moment of vulnerability and destruction, empowering the agony produced by discontent. Like a shield surrounded by missiles, it emphasizes protection against all immorality from the explicit and cruel.

Aviaxonus, Es un proyecto de música electrónica experimental realizado con máquinas y programas, navega bajo ritmos abstractos, drones, texturas y ambientaciones que viven en constante modulación. Inspirado en la tecnología, la naturaleza y lo desconocido, Aviaxonus nos lleva a nuevos terrenos sonoros con toques oscuros y misteriosos, realidad & ficción.

Aviaxonus, is an experimental electronic music project made with machines and programs, it navigates under abstract rhythms, drones, textures and settings that live in constant modulation. Inspired by technology, nature and the unknown, Aviaxonus takes us to new sound terrains with dark and mysterious touches, reality & fiction.

Lacrima, En los sonidos de esta pieza musical solo hay poesía vibrando, los gritos de los niñes jugando son las texturas simbólicas que acompañan un paisaje sonoro lleno de reflexión. Yo nunca he vivido una guerra de tal magnitud, pero empatizo desde el corazón con los pueblos que las sufren, dado las guerras que internamente llevo y que todes vivimos en algún momento. Desde mi sensibilidad, envío un mensaje de amor, pero lleno de fuerza, entregando una parte de mí.

Lacrima, In the sounds of this piece of music there is only vibrating poetry, the cries of children playing are the symbolic textures that accompany a soundscape full of reflection. I have never experienced a war of such magnitude, but I empathize from the heart with the people who suffer them, due wars that I carry internally and that we all live at some point. From my sensitivity, I send a message of love, but full of strength, giving a part of me.
006_Somnoloquia – Amor en tiempos de guerra
BIOGRAFÍA:
Somnoloquia, Luna Aramais es Somnoloquia. Proyecto live experimental. Transita por sonidos ligados al dark-ambient y el rhythmic noise. Atmósferas profundas y orgánicas, drones y sonidos sci-fi, sonidos bineurales acompañados de voces y lecturas místicas. Recorre paisajes sonoros que se caracterizan por sus sonidos oscuros, mágicos y envolventes induciendo a estados alterados de conciencia. Recientemente ganó tercer lugar del concurso de ETHER SOMA LABORATORY: “Thee Ministry of Anticulture – Remixes”. También es DJ y se ha presentado en diversos clubs de Santiago, Chile. Luna es directora de arte, fotógrafa, diseñadora de moda y cofundadora del estudio y marca de indumentaria Aramais y noot.studio.

Somnoloquia,Luna Aramais is Somnoloquia. Live experimental project. It goes through sounds linked to dark-ambient and rhythmic noise. Deep and organic atmospheres, drones and sci-fi sounds, bineural sounds accompanied by voices and mystical readings. Travel through soundscapes characterized by their dark, magical and enveloping sounds inducing altered states of consciousness. He recently won third place in the ETHER SOMA LABORATORY: “Thee Ministry of Anticulture – Remixes” contest. He is also a DJ and has performed in various clubs in Santiago, Chile. Luna is an art director, photographer, fashion designer, and co-founder of the studio and apparel brand Aramais and noot.studio.

Amor en tiempos de guerra, Miro a mi alrededor y veo todo oscuro, la neblina se hace presente como un velo que cubre todo a http mi alrededor, no veo absolutamente nada sí avanzo puedo caer al vacío. No hay absolutamente nada que pueda hacer, solo esperar. Comienza a amanecer y unos pequeños rayos de sol iluminan la cumbre de los árboles. Y lentamente todo se comienza iluminar, por fin sale el sol, después de largos días oscuros, ahora puedo avanzar tranquilo.

Amor en tiempos de guerra, I look around me and I see everything dark, the fog is present as a veil that covers everything around me, I see absolutely nothing if I advance I can fall into the void. There is absolutely nothing I can do, just wait. Dawn begins to break and a few small rays of sunlight illuminate the top of the trees. And slowly everything begins to light up, finally the sun comes out, after long dark days, now I can move forward calmly.
007_Geoastra – Anima
BIOGRAFÍA:
Geoastra, Es el proyecto de música electrónica de Juan Lucio, DJ, productor musical e ingeniero de sonido radicado en Santiago. Nacido en Cartago, Colombia en 1994, a temprana edad comenzó a aportar a la escena local con diferentes proyectos desde 2008, presentándose en festivales y salas de Sudamérica junto a Speedy J, Mitú, Setaoc Mass, Polar Inertia, Developer, Claudio PRC, por nombrar unos pocos. También ha trabajado con varios sellos bajo diferentes apodos; como ‘J. David’ (Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Brickwork, Road Trip Recordings), ‘Geometric89’ con su hermano Christian Lucio (G89 Records, K-84 Records, Rehue) y ‘Beyond Humans’ también con su hermano (Alss, Utch, Virescence, Force Inc. / Mille Plateaux y No Way Records). Molly Anders, es el proyecto electrónico y experimental de Francisca Bakovic. Molly es cantante y compositora. Tiene dos gatos, un perro y ama la ciencia ficción.

Molly Anders, is the electronic and experimental project of Francisca Bakovic. Molly is a singer and a composer. She has two cats, a dog and loves science fiction.
RESEÑA DEL TRACK:
Lost Vibe, Inspirado en los recientes eventos ocurridos en Ucrania, este track utiliza instrumentos atmosféricos y los modula para resaltar la cualidad ondulatoria del sonido. Un discurso jurídico de un académico interviene el ambiente orgánico producido por la música para recordar cómo la retórica influye y afecta la realidad.

Lost Vibe, Inspired by recent events in Ukraine, this track uses atmospheric instruments and modulates them to bring out the undulatory quality of sound. A legal discourse from an academic intervenes the organic environment produced by music to remember how rhetoric influences and affects reality.
